Select News in the upper main menu. You are directed to the news area, where you can find the different news categories in the navigation tree on the left as well as current news in the main window.

Select create subcategory in the context menu on the right. Now you have the possibility to enter a suitable name and short description of the news-category. Confirm your entries by clicking on create.
