There are two ways to enter the editing mode of your profile. Firstly there is a link located in the user account area that will take you to your profile. Secondly you can use the jump to function in the context menu by clicking on the menu point my profile.

By clicking on either of the links you will be directed to your profile:

On the right hand side in the context menu the what can I do here menu shows the possibilities that are accessible by you. By pressing the edit this object button:

you are directed to your personal data:

Here you have the opportunity to edit your profile.

One central element of your profile is the option to upload a picture from your hard drive. Click on browse and select a picture from the hard drive of your computer. Both .jpg and .gif format are supported.

To confirm your changes, simply press the save button at the bottom of the screen.

In the lower part of the screen you also have the opportunity to create a buddy list. By clicking the add buddy button a pop up window will open offering a search field to enter the name of your buddy:

After the search is complete you can add the person to your buddy list by simply clicking in his or her name. The person automatically receives an e-mail with your buddy request. After a person is added a red X will appear next to his name, by clicking on it you can remove the buddy:
