Dissemination of Excellence and Policy Community Interaction
Objectives
Following the fundamental principles of the Lisbon strategy, dissemination of excellence is both a process of interaction between the research and policy communities, and the pooling of local and national resources into the creation of a space of knowledge and debate at the European level. It is an essential function of Networks of Excellence that defines their added value in European terms. Garnet runs a specific dissemination of excellence programme with a Media Advisory Board. This programme includes professional and scholarly publications, production of policy briefing papers, topical policy community oriented ‘travelling seminars’. The projects designed for this programme are all refereed products submitted to the approval of the Media Advisory Board.
