The Dissemination of Excellence programme includes professional and scholarly publications, the production of policy briefing papers and topical policy community oriented ‘travelling seminars’. The projects designed for this programme are all refereed products submitted to the approval of the GARNET Media Advisory Board.

Book series ‘Europe in the World’ - 'Emerging Global Challenges'

The Routledge GARNET series, 'Europe in the World' and 'Emerging Global Challenges', provide a forum for innovative research and current debates emanating from the research community within the GARNET Network of Excellence. It is dealing with a wide range of issues related to regulation in the context of regional and global governance, the representation and participation of the EU in global governance, and regionalism in Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas.

Working Papers

The aim of the GARNET Working Paper series is to share with a wide audience of academics, practitioners and policy-makers new work on global governance, regionalisation, regulation and the role of the EU in these processes. Papers are reviewed and can be work in progress or ready for publication; there are no copyright restrictions regarding the use of material from working papers in future publications. GARNET members, participants in conferences and workshops and junior associates are encouraged to submit their papers to the Working Paper series.

Policy Briefing Papers

GARNET Policy Briefing Papers are specifically tailored to policy audiences. They focus on issues of particular salience to key questions in matters of contemporary governance and regulation and targeted at both public and private sector policy communities. They also aim at linking together the various levels –local, national, international – of the European space of knowledge and debate, and therefore contributing to its integration.

Every issue of the GANET Policy Briefing Papers is followed by specific ‘travelling seminars’ with the participation of scholars in the network. The ‘travelling seminars’ are designed for a policy community audience, defined along the same line as the policy papers audience, with the concrete objective of bringing together the academic and professional communities and contributing to their interaction on global and European governance issues.
