PhD School Alumni Conference, 4-5 March 2010
The Garnet PhD School Alumni Conference will focus on “Global Governance, Regionalism, the EU: and the emerging multipolar world. The seminar will strive to study the implications for, and the effects of, the changes in the structure of the global order. The theoretical questions born from the global power shifts and the emergence of a multipolar world will be the seminar's leitmotif.
The GARNET PhD school is part of the GARNET Network of Excellence, a European-wide project financed by the European Commission’s 6th FP (2005-2009). As a whole, the GARNET network focuses on “Global Governance, Regionalisation and Regulation: the role of the EU”. Within the network’s fields of enquiry, and under the scientific supervision of an international Academic Council, the PhD school seeks to foster an interdisciplinary and international epistemic community at the doctoral level.
