4^th Annual Conference of the GARNET network

The 4^th Annual Conference of the GARNET Network of Excellence (Global Governance, Regionalisation and Regulation: The Role of the EU) is convened in Rome by the Research Centre of International Economics (CIDEI) of Sapienza University of Rome.

The conference will cover the key theme of ‘Food Security and Sustainable Development: Challenges for the Governance of International Relations‘ and will be organised in cooperation with the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and the World Food Programme (WFP).

In addition, the conference will include, as part of the programme, a GARNET Research Meeting, with the objective of taking stock of the five-year work carried out by the network. The aim will be to showcase research activities, as well as integration activities, designed not only to facilitate cooperation among the centres involved in the research programmes, but also to pave the way for future developments of cooperation.
